My Mexico Grande is starting to bloom right now.

Right now my 3 Mother trees are in full bloom. Around 10 ft tall. I've been doing some hand pollination to increase my odds. Between me and the Bumble Bees... hopefully they will set some fruit.

That's certainly a possibility... Nothing available now... perhaps later in the Spring.

Fresh seed will germinate quickly.
It's best if you can eat the fruit and spit the seeds right into their pots.
No need for special soil or water. Just hold back on any fertilizer for a while.

Here's a few photos of my Red Hybrids... Dark Red maybe?

That's something we can talk about.
Right now they are blooming like crazy... maybe this summer?

In my opinion...
Garnet is the better of the 2 as far as eating quality...
Especially the grafted ones from the original Garnet Mother plants.
Sweet and juicy with a tropical fruit flavor and golden pulp. Less seeds also. New growth is very red.
Nelitas fruits can be longer in length... typically having red pulp... and because they are seedlings there is some variability in eating quality.
They also tend to have more seeds.

I have 3 very large mature plants grown from seed acquired from Miguel in Portugal.
The fruit is very juicy and quite sweet with a nice balance of sweet and tart. Delicious!
I haven't been so fortunate to try any others.

I have several Sweet Uvaia seedlings that should be ready later this Spring:

Glad to hear that about the Jumbo Siams Mike .... The cuttings I got from you rooted easily and are already setting fruit.
