Thinking of trying to grow some persimmons in zone 5b. Will be a new exp for me. Anyone know a good tasting variety that will grow in my zone? Thanks for peekin!

I would leave them for another 2-4 weeks if scions alive (altho i dont have alot of exp in what your grafting) . Scratch alittle of the bark off the scion and if its green the scion is still alive and kickin.

My tap ppm was about 250ish and i used 2 filters the rv one takes particles and chlorine out then the second one with car on it has a resin that eliminates solids so it would come out 0ppm . It lasted about 50-75 gallons before my ppm started to raise little by little. I used it for a while and worked great i changed to ro though.

Thoes do look variegated. Itll happen where just 1 branch out of no where pushes out variegated. Some patterns are more pronounced than others. I cant think of anything that would make a leaf look like that besides chlorophyll not showing up to the party lol. My guess would be variegated maybe we can get a poll going!

That was some really good info! Your trees are amazing! That new growth on spirito is beautiful! Ever wanna trade or sell a cutting of that pm me😂😂 . But really seeing a rooted cutting from a jabo is inspiring. I think i might give it a shot too!

Hey panther an easy mix for jabos is peat moss and perlite. About 15-20% perlite to 80-85% peatmoss (they love acid soil) , easy to find supplies. Use osmocote or my fav hollytone for feeding them. This is just for jabos i dont have any exp with sapodilla.

That is an amazing picture! How many variegated plants have you just happend apon adam? ( im goin on 0😂) Thoes are some really cool patterns on that tuba.

I can only get store bought mangos here in ny iv been thinking of trying to grow one in my grow room but not sure how that would work.

Wanna sell some i want some mango pickles haha

Ya lasting long was not a problem for me haha it only made it 2 days i saved one little chunk for day 3 and everytime it was nice and crunchy. I could see once u open it eat it within a couple days its so crunchy and fluffy itll soak up humidity fast. I cant see anyone being able to save it longer than a few days after tasting it anyways lol. Keep up the good work adam!

O man im sorry to hear that i mean its a good problem to have just but not to break off.....iv made chutney (not sure if thats how you spell it) out of unripe mangos thats my fav, maybe a curry or salad iv herd of people pickling unripe mangos.

Its really good id suggest anyone who has the chance GET SOME while you can. I herd from adam theres about 100ish jabos in each jar. Only alittle left in my jar😭😭😭.

Ya about 4ish feet when the reds start fruiting iv herd.

I live 5 mins from the stadium! Buffalo tailgating is the best!

Just depends how they were grown. You could have a fruiting jaboticaba bonsai.
