Adam is notoriously bad at getting to his emails. It can take a few tries, but with some patience and politeness, he'll eventually get around to you, and has a large jabuticaba collection.

One of our members here has an ebay store that sells jaboticaba plants. Currently, a cocktail paulista and red hybrid is listed for sale. A fruiting grimal sold for over $300 recently.

A lot of people grow from seeds, so I would think they grow true. I'm no expert though.
