it is tropical or sub-tropical

I think it's a tropical species..   but it should be worth a try especially if you have more hardy clones, or species in the same section.
I saw this species growing at an elevation of 500 m..   but there is no frost, and any freeze at this altitude, in Guadeloupe island.
