Sukari orange (sweet Egyptian orange)
« on: February 24, 2022, 08:03:31 AM »
Stopped over at my favorite nursery and my nurseryman said he had only one of these Sukari oranges trees for sale. I bought it as I like the odd ball citrus and couldnt find almost any info on it.

Can anyone tell me more about this Sukari orange?

I guess, that it is the same sort that is in Turkey called Sekeri, in Greece Sikeri, it means Sweet orange.

I remember the Fruit Mentor  reviewing ackay sekeri, he seemed to have been impressed - it was the sweetest of 60 citrus varieties he tried
