Unfortunately, the 30th falls on some business travel for me so I won’t be able to make it.
Would love to connect for mango tasting this year.  I have several new seedling mangos that are producing including a first time Carrie seedling that is loaded.

Hi All,

I have been growing in SD for about a year and am now very active in the CRFG San Diego board. Would love to meet more San Diego peeps. I don't have much produce right now but can buy some stuff at Specialty Produce to share.

Zands I havent seen a doctor in over 25 years when I broke my kneecap off.  Had that kneecap sitting up on my thigh and my knee swelled up like a softball.  Spent the night in the hospital and had surgery the next day.  I was trying to hold out but at 3am the pain got to me.  I rang the bell and nurse came and told me to roll over and she injected my with morphene in my butt and laughed at me.  Thats the last time I took a shot.   ::)

That is something else! Yikes! No vaxxxxxxx since I was under parental control at 11 years old. You (me) don't take the annual flu shot means you are more immune to Covid--xyz

Hi Brad,

Wish we could make it, but no days off for us until at least the end of summer.  Hope you guys have a great time.  We just picked some Reeds last week because the squirrels have started to go after them, is it still early for them?  Thought I remembered you saying Aug/Sept was best time to harvest.

It was another great fruit tasting yesterday and there was so much leftover fruit. The ladies happened to stay home this time but Brads wife was there to keep us in check.

It’s amazing how fast everything grows at Brads place and his trees are looking beautiful. I was really impressed with the growth his Yangmei put on and it has definitely established and acclimated to the intense heat and sun up in the foothills of Poway.

His Lychee trees appear to double in size every time I visit and his Annonas and Avocados growing like gangbusters as well.
