I have read so many good things about the seedless kishu but never having tasted one, I found some online in California and ordered a box, quite  expensive by  the way,well they live up to all the hype . BEST piece of fruit I have ever had. Didn't find a seed in the entire box, so very easy to peel with a acid to sweet balance that is perfect, nice rich complex flavor,  much better then the clementine, my question is why are they not available in grocery stores? Seems to me that the commercial growers would jump all over this fruit.

I have one growing and this is the first year that it flowered.   Thank you very much for the post, now I will eagerly await the fruit.
I was told that the fruit was too small to be commercially viable.

We have a few trees and we love the fruit, I agree, the sweetest I have tasted.  They are very small, and tend to be soft and fragile. It might be those two things that make them difficult to manage for the commercial market.   Consumers will have to be educated about the superior taste.

I have 2 fairly large Kishu in my back yard. They are at the top of my list for good fruit.

I have a young one, on 2nd season bloom atm; last year bloom yield nothing. (not complaining).

Bought a bag of Golden Nugget at Walmart yesterday, 3lbs for $4.99. They were grown by Sunkist with a name of Lumpy Bumpy, limited availability.
Eat two sofar,they look fresh,taste very good. I would not rate it a 10.
