African Pride is aa tasty atemoya. I don't like it as much as Gefner. I agree it is does remind me more of its sugar apple roots. Harry
To me, Gefner is more like a cherimoya than is AP. The flesh is drier and firmer. The flavor is hard to describe in terms of difference. I only know I can tell the difference when I taste the two. Its just difficult to verbalize. I have the same trouble describing some of the different cherimoya flavors.Harry

I'm reconsidering growing Atemoyas they can not match an inferior Cherimoya tastewise so why even grow them?

Does anyone in the US have Pinks Mammoth? PIN list them but they never have then in stock. I been looking for this variety for some time with no results.
