It is around 3.5 meters high. Completely hardy without any protection being in ground since 2012.
The lowest temperature  for this period has been -12C.

Hello Ilya,
interesting, whats about fruit size and fruit taste - are they
edible with good taste and when are they mature ?

This is what our US-812 looks like. This is 1st year growth.

A seedling aswell? Or budwood from USDA?

This was budwood from Madison Citrus Nursery in GA who I presume got it from the USDA in some form.

Hello Ilya,

My experience is similar to that of Zitrusgaertner.
Fruits are ripe in the first half of December, small (~10g), their taste is close to that of calamondin.

Best regards,

That does sound promising. I am looking forward to seeing my plant grow and mature (Robert gave me budwood last year).

I am trying US 812 in my yard. I planted it this year after buying it from Madison. I am hoping it is hardier than US 942 (another Sunki-trifoliate hybrid), as that had disappointing hardiness this past winter.

What is your experience with US-942 and it’s cold hardiness?
