I am in zone 6b/7a and my tree has just flowered. How long    before the fruit ripens?

I did not know that a LImequat could make it anywhere near zone 7. Do you have it in a green house? I have not grown one so can't answer but hope some one else will.

I have a multi-grafted limequat with Tavares, Lakeland, and Eustis. It started flowering in Spring so I have some Eustis/Lakeland that are ripening soon. My Tavares portion bloomed later and the fruit are still much smaller. It is however the best tasting of the three!

I have a Tavares. It tends to flower a little earlier than kumquats so the fruit comes ripe around late December for me in zone 8

I have Tavares with first fruits last year.
I personally was not so overwhelmed by the taste.
Perhaps next harvest is better.
I like much more Kumquats.

Thank you all for your answers.  I do have a Tavares Limequat that I am growing outdoors in zone 6b/7a.  I use christmas lights, styrofoam and plastic to protect it in the winter.  It has set about a dozen blooms this past month.  Hopefully I will get some fruit this winter.
