Tropical Fruit Discussion / Mango tree help!

Please help me out on what to do with this mango tree.

Many of the leaves have fallen off, all of the limbs have died except for one.
It is a grafted tree in a pot, how can I get it back to life??

Do I need to trim it? If so where?
Do I need to add vitamins? If so what?

Sugar Apple
Sour sop
Apple banana

A year and a half later...this is what I finally went with: Orange Sherbet, Sugarloaf, Honey Kiss, Little Gem, and I ordered a Cecilove from Alex.  I still may find a spot for Pickering.  I had also considered Amrapali.  Covering early season right now, my good friend has PPK, and my neighbors have propagated a seedling (let's call it "Edmundo") with an Indian/West Indian flavor profile and an excellent sweet/acid balance.

Great choices John! May your trees grow and produce.

Coconut cream has a bumpy skin. Would love to try out a Dot someday.

I have a question about Dot. I posted earlier about some Dots i had which were fantastic. They were smallish, like the size of a baseball, with very orange flesh and a more resinous taste. I went back again this week to refill my stock, and this time the Dots were bigger than a softball (see picture), with more yellowish orange flesh, and a sweeter flavor. Also, an exceptional mango. Were both of the mangos dots? Or was the first possibly something else which was mislabeled.

And looking at bovine's coconut cream pictures, maybe these larger ones were coconut cream. The flesh looks identical. They weren't labeled when I got them. I labeled all of the different mangos when I came home.

You need\must have sugar loaf!

Alternative M4 = coconut dream

Florida has the highest mango theft per capita in the world!  :o

Really, Ugly Betty that bad in production???  Or are you being sarcastic?
It tastes delicious though!  :)

Get the mangos that are resistant to fungal deceases, such as Pickering, Coconut Cream, Glenn, M4, honey kiss, Valencia Pride, etc.
Also, plant some eucalyptus trees, they consume a lot of water.

Hello all, which mango tree fruits every other year?

I know about Valencia Pride, noticed that Lemon merengue is as well.
No flowers or nothing on this one particular tree.  :(

On the surface, the Manchineel seems harmless: A green, leafy tree bearing fruits that resemble green apples.

But don't be fooled: Everything from the bark, sap and fruit can be incredibly dangerous to humans.

Hello again, I have a mango tree in pot to be planted into the ground.
The tree in pot has some small new leaves, should I wait for it for to be firm and fully grown to then plant it in the ground.

New leaves in plant, wait for the transplant, to then leave the pot into the dirt?

Hello all, what would be the ideal moon phase to take a potted mango tree and plant it on the ground?

Does the moon have any affect on it?

What would be the best time to plant a fruit tree on the ground?

Much appreciated!

Neelam is a great choice, smooth texture with a bit of coconut taste. Very nice tasting.

Neelam still hanging and it tasted a bit coconuty. Very good taste.

Keitt huge fruit and so juicy, late season mango.  I would try to keep the tree alive.

Beautiful, how is the tree growth habit?  Does it produce well?

Is the fruit clean?

Venus has dropped a few but still loaded with green fruit, the taste has been exquisite, like a late season oversized Orange sherbet.
