FL cold effect on your mango varieties
« on: February 03, 2022, 09:41:51 AM »
Hope title makes sense.  I'm curious if some varieties were hit harder then others.
Surely location on your own property can effect be it more/less wind, sun, stored radiant heat from buildings, health of tree ect but let's see if there's a common standout.
I'll inspect mine & update after lunch.

Hit the 40's a few times in January, with a low of 40.1

No observable effect on any trees. Expecting blooms though.

Still lots of fruitlets on Glenn from previous flowering. Nothing else held so far, maybe a couple of Sugar Loafs.

your mango tree might flower more due to the cold this year
