I currently have a limited amount of Maha scions.

102
My pleasure Raul.  May those scions bring you fruit for years to come.

103
Any difficult to find mangos?

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: 125 GalCogshall or Pickering ?
« on: May 07, 2016, 04:48:05 PM »
2nd on the Dwarf Hawaiian.  I absolutely loved it last season.  Pickering has been a work horse in my garden as well.   Not extraordinary but it never disappoints

105
I've got a fair supply of:

Harvest Moon
Juliette
Coconut Cream
Sweet Tart
Lemon Zest
Juicy Peach

a slightly more limited supply of

Venus
Pineapple Pleasure
Peach Cobbler

and even more limited of

Fruit Punch

I am probably forgetting some but I have everything Zills has released into the mainstream so ask and ye shall receive.

Rob, I am saving Super Duper Tommy Atkins for when I can officially change the name to the "Sheehan's Favorite"

George is gonna be mad...  ;) ;D :o :P

You are not supposed to be selling any Citrus scions, inside or outside the State of Florida.

I am IRATE!  I have been looking for those loquat varieties for ages and he has been holding out on me!  An order shall be placed post haste!

107
I have pushed a fair bit of new growth instead of fruit this season so PM me what you are interested in and I will tell you what I have up for grabs (if any).  I can at very least offer a time table then.

108
I do have the Sheehan but I thought globally it was referred to as Tommy Atkins

109
What non-excalibur/non-zills mangos will be there?   Looking for something off the beaten path

110
To clarify, only mango scions are out of commission.  Everything else is still up for grabs

111
I took a stroll through the garden this morning and just about everything is flowering.  As such, I won't be shipping budwood until further notice.   Let the fruiting BEGIN!!!!

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Florida nursery license questions

You will be also required to be bonded if you pay by check, not necessary if you pay with cash, Minimum bond $5000 Costs around $100 + yearly registration to dept of ag which is $175

I've paid by check every year without issue and am not bonded.  That is odd

The whole process is a rubber stamp and  a check for $25.  Don't sweat it.  They will stroll through your yard say "yup, yup, everything looks good here"  and that about does it.

It couldn't be easier.  For a nominal sum and a cursory 10 min annual inspection, you are granted a nursery license to use as you see fit.  Take the plunge.  The hardest part is filling out the initial paperwork and that was simple.

115
You folks really don't make it sound too enticing to wait the ages it takes before you get fruit.

116
I'm looking for anyone who has pommerac plants for sale/trade.  Please contact me via PM if you have some or know a nursery that sells them.

117
Picked up 7 more new ones and updated the list above

Tropical Fruit Buy, Sell & Trade / Re: WANT: Avri Loquat scion
« on: March 01, 2016, 06:34:47 PM »
try flyingfoxfruits.  He made a cocktail loquat for me that is the jewel of my collection and it has Avri on it.

121
Dan,

I barely have the patience to graft for myself.  This is more of a 'sell budwood to pay for my mango addiction' scenario as opposed to a source of income for me.  I'm happy to ship out budwood but it would be too arduous to keep up with the constant grafting.

122
I'm glad to see the budwood arrived in great condition and simon is already halfway home!  Congrats

As of the most recent batch of orders, I'm all out of Maha Chanok, Edgar and Guava and my Sweet Tart, Coconut Cream and Pim Sane Mun have begun flowering so they are out of the running as well.

As more trees begin flowering, they will be temporarily removed from the scion pool.  If there is something you REALLY want, please message me and I will let you know how long of a window you have to still get budwood.

123
Many of my trees should be flowering soon so, as of a couple of weeks from now, the availability will be severely limited for the next few months.  Consequently, I will have a much smaller list of available budwood in the not too distano future. Additionally, If you have any special requests for budwood from a mango that I don't currently have, I'm always looking for an excuse to expand the collection so feel free to message me.
