Back safe and sound from 2013 CRFG / HTFG conference in Ha., first off big thank's to Ken Love and all the folk's that helped put on Festival. Also up front must admit not much pic's back communication between wife w/camera. More folk's showed up for this festival than I thought would have gone. Most folks went on boat cruise we just got together with three other local CRFG chapter folk's anf went to two Is. Oahu and Big Is. of hawaii. Started with dinner reception that Kapiolani Community College put on WOW, they had many different meal stations set up with about 8 different courses all based on having tropical fruit used some way and it was the rave for the night. Chris Rollins gave a nice slide show talk on fruits of Florida. Next day was conference with Chris Rollins, Jim West, Roger Meyer, Joe Sabol Francis Zee giving talk's or break out sessions as they called them. Fruit tasting going on all day with a big eat the displayed fruit at the end.We got to taste big Hybrid Jack maybe from " Frankie's"had orange meat inside very sweet, salak , rambutan, longan ,etc. We got to talk with most folk's we see at these conf. To be cont. later!

Nice pictures.  However, I think you submitted them as ADULT pictures.  You probably want to resubmit them as FAMILY, as the normally PG ads are currently displaying topless women.  I swear I only clicked each pic to verify three times or less  ;)

Cont. tours, Lyon Arboretum very nice in valley behind U.H. in the hills, old park with huge old trees cannonball tree, monkeypod, breadfruit, blimbi, miracle fruit, on and on beautiful place. Frankies Nursery was just amazing  Very nice layout of trees everything was growing all over. Had nice fruit layout and fruit for sale. You could see evidence of wild pigs all over the place. I think Frankie said he likes his pig's smoked by friend of his. We then went to Hilo on Big Is. stayed @ place called Dolphin Bay Hotel place had mature starfruit 30' tall and Avocados big pail green fruit falling to ground. Every morning you could get banana, papaya, avocado, plus said we could pick what we wanted ( we ended up w/avocado for the rest of or trip all most. So the next tour was outside Hilo @ USDA Repository which we still got to tour just no officals around much, and with every possible type of fruit tree and one gent showed us the Avocado section I could see Greengold and Nishikawa hanging nice big fruit also saw Kahalu'u hanging. The fruit there that looked like the fruit we got from Dolphin Bay Hotel was' Bruce' same light green color, had nice fruit display also. Then on to lunch and to Oscar's place, wow for what your growing in Oscar, I'm amazed lot's of lave cinders for drainage. Way to many people but still a nice tour wish I could have talked more to you Oscar, oh and a taste of rollina d. and some sweet starfruit, nice layout of orchard plant families together! Then off to Kona for R&R two tours next day @ Hawaiian Chocolate Factory very interesting didn't know that they ferment fruity layer on outside of  bean to get off. Last tour was Ranch managed by Ken Love lot's of old fruit trees and coffee tasted santol and dragonfruit. Sent some nice clean seeds home to me!!! ;) :D 8)Tasted Kahalu'u avocado before we left was best ever creamy with butery slight nuttyness goodness ;D ;D
