Yes, the ice cream can be very good.  I had it in Peru years ago and I have still never had the fruit.  Can you compare the fresh fruit to Mamey sapote or some other fruit?

Can't compare to a mamey colorado from Yucatan fruit taste like a canistel
The sorbet is one of the best
