overwhelmed, help with repotting strategy?
« on: April 12, 2020, 12:41:23 PM »
Here's the short version: I have 12 avocado treelings in pots, no actual yard space, and all desperately need to be re and up potted.  I don't want to repot and take care of all 12, I don't want to throw them out, and no one I know wants them.  What am I supposed to do?

Long version by request :)

Donate them. Or practice your grafting skills.

Strom, if you’re in San Diego I’ll take a couple off your hands.

Hi, just a quick update for sake of posterity :p

I hiked up my shorts, sang like the duke, and repotted everything into 3 gallon containers I had on hand from another project.  Only a couple were badly root-bound, the rest were just fine.

My arms and hands are full of splinters from mixing the soil :o
