i have an addiction to online ordering of tropical fruit trees
knlim000:
i have an addiction to online ordering of tropical fruit trees. I already have:
20+mango tree
10+ guava
15+ cherimoya,pandan
mangosteen
asian gooseberry,
june plum
ice cream bean tree
15+ banana
rose apple
logan
lychee seedling
soursop seedling
I just ordered 1 lychee grafted, 3 more mangos.
And now, I'm going online looking for more things. How do you control this addition? I don't have any urges to buy new shoes, clothes,or jewlry like I do with tropical fruit trees.
Tropicalnut:
I have the same problem, but just don’t buy on line I but from Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, private sellers in Craig’s list etc. etc. or people give me fruit trees because they know I am a nut! But I think my hording practice is cheaper than buying clothes or jewelry (at least I want to think so) Thrust me, you are not alone in this forum! :)

Not sure if you're serious. Set a budget. Open a new bank account and transfer a set amount into it each month or every pay period. Then you have to decide if you want to buy small things each month or save it to get something big for your birthday.
gnappi:
Trees are FARRRR cheaper than my Ex's shoes and clothes, AND the trees pay you back with fruit
Cookie Monster:
Get an internet filter for anything related to fruit. Only browse for fruit trees when you're hamster is watching (put the puter in the living room next to the hamster cage). Give all of your credit cards to your cockatoo and let it be the purchase police.
