Off grid individual drip watering system

(1/1)

EuroFruit:
Good morning,
Maybe some folks located in the most dry parts of CA, OZ, Argentina or Brazil, will be interested in this post.
Last november I planted two dozens of trees in remote parts of my property where no water supply is available. Now it is very hot here and I needed to maintain those trees until the autumn rains.
First I wanted buy this kind of bags but they are expensive and critters vulnerable.

So for less money I elaborate those kind of individual watering systems working perfectly.
Of course I need to fill them every three days with a water tank on my side by side.
Here are the pictures :

If you have a shallow water table there are submersible DC water pumps that can be run with solar panels, a controller and battery.

Yes, I know about those DC pumps that run on solar panels.
Unfortunately, unlike Florida, the water table here is deep: over 100 feet. So if I add the cost of drilling, the pump, and the solar panels, it's very expensive. My drip system made with PVC pipe costs $10 per tree.

I like it. I recommended something similar to someone with a rural property here using a 55 gal drum
