Sabara - Plinia jaboticaba seeds - From 2 different sources.
Waipahu Sabara Seeds: $0.50 each
Frankies Sabara Seeds: $0.60 each

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Unknown Plinia sp. "Frankies Dwarf"(this tree is not named, just describing the tree by the location and growth habit.) - Grown from seed originally from Brazil - Was said to be from a tree that makes variegated fruits. Fruits heavily, but makes irregular sized fruits, many are small. The dark red fruits have extremely short peduncles and grow in dense clusters.
Fruits are sweet (average brix is 15% with a max measured of 18%) with a flavor profile similar to a Sabara combined with red hybrid, it also has a bit of a cherry flavor to it when picked slightly early. Older than 20 years with a dwarf growing habit (approx. 6-7ft tall). Medium sized leaves, larger than Sabara but smaller than Aureana. It has leaves somewhat like a less wavy Paulista or Trunciflora.

I believe this is a Plinia cauliflora or some hybrid (not to be confused with Sabara which was renamed to Plinia jaboticaba). It almost looks like it could be a cross between Sabara and Red Hybrid.  Many of the fruits have smaller seeds, especially the smaller fruits. Also unlike Sabara and Paulista, this tree fruits way more often. It fruits almost as often as Red Hybrid.

Plinia sp. "Frankies Dwarf" $1.50 each
SALE

Wax Jambu - Syzygium samarangense - Red Variety - $1.50 each Very sweet when dark red and ripe. Only some fruits have seeds, maybe 1 out of 10+ fruits has a seed or 2. Cottony center around the seed. Very productive tree that grows extremely fast.

Herrania ubratica - Wild Colombian Cocoa - Monkey Cacao - $6 each - SOLD

Burmese Grape - Mafai - Baccaurea ramiflora - $1.50 each

Sri Gading Chempejack Hybrid- Artocarpus integer x heterophyllus - $2 each or $15 for 10 - New fruits almost ready to harvest.

White Jaboticaba - Plinia aureana - $2 each Limited quantity in stock, more on tree ready soon.

Lemon Cattley Guava - Psidium cattleyanum var. littorale - $0.50 each
Sweet with very good flavor! Mother tree fruited at 1.5-2 years old. It was grown from seed collected from a wild grown tree in central Oahu, HI. First ripe fruit is very good and measured 14% Brix and 42mm in diameter.

Chrysophyllum cainito - Green/Pink Star Apple - $4 each - Fresh Seeds In Stock
Seedling grown, turns pink when fully ripe. Best Flavor I have had from cainito! Tastes like a nice sweet cainito with a unique sweet durian note to it without the funky savory part.
Most of the fruits have just 1 seed or none at all. About 1/4 of the fruits have been seedless. About 1/2 of them have just 1 seed.

Red Hybrid Jaboticaba - Plinia cauliflora x Plinia aureana - Fruits in 2-5 years - $1.50 each - limited amount available.

Inga sp. #3 Unknown Ice Cream Bean Species. $3 each The fruits looks like Inga edulis, but the pulp is sweeter and juicer than Inga edulis. - Long skinny pods that look kind of like a Churro -  pic is of an under ripe fruit. Gets fatter and bigger.

Theobroma cacao - Red Criollo - $2 each - More pods ripening and each pod as 33+ seeds/beans

Yellow Cacao - Theobroma cacao - Yellow Criollo - $3 each - Excellent Selection, Huge Pods, Excellent Pulp!

Peanut Butter Fruit - Bunchosia Glandulifera - $1 each Available

Blackberry Jam Fruit Seeds - Rosenbergiodendron formosum - $0.50 each Fresh

Eugenia selloi - Pitangatuba - Star cherry - $1 each - From 4 different trees

Kwai Muk - Artocarpus Parvus - commonly mislabeled as A. hypargyraeus -  $4 each Fresh Supply! Very Few Fruits This Year! Highly Limited!
First time fruiting from this tree. Sweet fruits that taste like a tropical bubble gum. A bit like Fruit Stripe bubble gum. The more ripe ones do have a dried peach or apricot jam flavor. I quite like this fruit.

Phyllanthus acidus - Otaheite Gooseberry - Tahitian Gooseberry - $1 each -  Tart, crisp, juicy fruits.

Sweet Tamarind - Tamarindus indica - $0.50 each Fresh

AxP "White" Jaboticaba seeds -  - - SOLD
This AxP seedling fruited at just under 2.5 years old and hasn't stopped fruiting since. It's parent tree makes a maroon/burgundy colored fruit, but yet this seedling makes a light green colored fruit. Very sweet fruits with good flavor. Has a berry flavor similar to red hybrid or scarlet. I have measured some fruits with some reaching 28.5% Brix

Check back again, more coming soon.

Doggonit, it’s time to start saving up some extra money. Those fresh seeds are too good to ignore. You folks from Hawaii are allowing me to turn my yard into a “food forest” that much sooner! Keep up the good work!👍😁

Just chiming in to agree with other buyers that Shiloh's stuff has been top-notch quality for me as well. Thanks for all the work you put into this, Shiloh.

A quick review for these specifically since I find them really interesting:

I got some seeds from this tree from Shiloh about this time last year, germination was good and they've been healthy since. Variability in characteristics from plant to plant : some are still VERY small but some have taken off a bit, some have leaves a bit more similar to a sabara and some have long narrow pointed leaves more similar to some Brazilian species I've previously gotten from Marcos. Overall hardiness/ salt & ph tolerance has been more similar to a red hybrid than sabara, for me at least, which is pretty good. Looking forward to seeing how these develop.
