My fruiting Achachairu - Video
« on: May 09, 2022, 05:37:52 PM »
I did a quick video on my Achachairu tree. Also some bonus footage of my big male Luc’s, and White Pakistani? Mulberry.

Amazing tree, a masterpiece. Please let me know if I can buy a few for me and my buddy (another member). We are both growing for over 5 years now he has been growing for 7. We would love to try! Thanks
Abe

I'm glad to see it is true these get so wide as I was told. I planted 20 trees two years ago at 25 ft spacing. They seem so far apart but I did fit a soursop between each of them.
Here is another example of similar size in Florida, Fort Myers area, see video at 2:30 minutes.

Wow! Beautiful and inspiring!  Watched the taste test video Luc’s vs Achachairu, as well.  Both were great.  Thanks so much for sharing!

Thanks everyone for the responses . From my experience, the trees do like partial shade when they are young.  The seedlings that I had planed out in the open and full sun did not grow as quickly as the shaded ones.  I probably gave some foliar spays in addition to granular fertilizer when the tree was young, now its just granular stuff.

One of my favourites. My seeds took long to germinate though, almost half a year. I had actually forgotten about them... I keep them in the shade for now.

Very nice tree, My 8 year old ones about 1/3 or 1/2 smaller in volume.

Nicely  done doc. My tree is tiny so now I know to give it space.
