My Pomelo

I grow this pomelo tree from a Shaitan Pomelo seed.  After over 10 years, it give a over 100 fruits but all of them got split and dropped.  Today, I decided to pick one up even though it is split.  Just want to try the taste.  It turn over very good, better than I am expected.  Just like the Shaitan Pomelo as I remembered.

Now, I need to solved the fruit split issue for the next season. 
Any advice will be appreciated.

Consistent watering. The majority of the time I've had fruits split like that are after periods of heavy watering/rain after a drought.

My grapes split like that apparently from too much rain though they were ripe when splitting it would have been better to get them super ripe. But here in Florida we get a foot of rain a day in the rainy season and I see some splitting of citrus but not a lot. My grapes are in huge pots with small holes so I guess fills with water. So maybe better drainage.

The opposite also happens. Drought will split them. I think with citrus being too dry, too hot is usually what splits them. With my grapes it was too much water.
