Should I keep my pink wampee
« on: February 02, 2025, 01:02:04 AM »
It is growing well for me in AZ.
The thing is, I purchased it before finding out that yellow wampee has the superior flavor.
Anyone have experience tasting pink wampee?  Anything below a good flavor profile means it has to go.  I don't have room in backyard for subpar varieties.

I've had both and the yellow wampee is superior in taste.

I didn't care for it much until I tasted my first fruits from a friend's yard. It was a yellow fruit and very good tasting fruit. So I saved all the seeds and planted them.

I didn't like my pink wampee fruit and got rid if it.  I am growing a yellow one now.
