Hi you all , after a long absence due to several health problems and the passing of my son , now I am really trying to be a - be back .
My orchard during this period of total neglect reverted into a jungle , fortunately after cleaning I was surprised that most of my rare jaboticaba did survive even under 1 meter of weeds , most were stunted but after being exposed to full sun ( some did not enjoy that and suffered ) and a short 2021 rainy-season , now they are thriving .
The buildings did not fare so well they were invaded , vandalized and robbed of everything that was not too heavy to carry....
This year 2021 because so many people asked me I still went looking for the Mexican Garcinia , this never in my 20 plus years in this area happened ....found only a few fruits .....I am sure my dear friend Raul Gonzales will confirm this , unless he got them all before I went for them .....LOL.....
Dear friends , please don't overload me with messages , I am too old and not looking forward to answer a multitude of questions that you can find the answers for in this forum . BTW my I Mack is also old , not as old as I am...LOL... but , gives me problems some time , shutting of in the middle of a conversation , not wanting to start ....name it ....
I wish you all a happy 2022 , full of new exciting fruits .

My condolences regarding your loss and health issues. It is good to know you are back, many of us had asked about you some time ago, wondering where you were.
In hopes of brightening your return a bit, here is a picture I took today. First time ever for me that the g. vleerackerii is holding fruit past the marble stage. This from one of your first seed shipments back in 2013.
Welcome back!
