I enjoy it quite a bit. Doesn't seem to have any disease problems here in sarasota, FL. Just ate some a few days ago. Thicker skinned than typical cuke, but crunchy and nice mild flavor.
I'm also experimenting with some other cucurbit cucumber alternatives for florida summer, cucumber metuliferus the jelly melon or african horned and burr gherkin cucumber anguria. Can't report on those yet.
Maybe I should have made this thread about cucumber alternatives...
