Rare Fruit Council Palm Beach plant sale

Anyone going to the Rare Fruit County plant sale tomorrow (March 25) or been to their sales in the past?
Just wondering how big it is and what to expect.

Don't expect anything too rare. And don't expect every variety of a fruit such as mango--more like old favorites mixed with some newer varieties. It's geared towards gardening newbies, wanting to plant some fruit trees.

I enjoy going to tropical nurseries just to look at what's available.
Never been to this sale and just want to check it out.
Not looking for anything wild, but curious to see what they are growing.

If you arrive late and if last year is anything to go by, the best stuff will be gone.
Go early and take your wallet, it is hard not to pick up something.

Ill say this, atleast for last year -- the prices were very reasonable for a wide variety of fruit trees. Ive seen prices spike in local nurseries within the last year. While they don't offer tons of rare varieties, theres still a lot to choose from. If you live nearby you may as well give it a shot.

Paul did a preview on his YouTube channel, FRUITFUL TREES.  It looks way better than last year.  They said at the end that there's much more stuff than last year.  But get there at 9am for the best selection!

A long line waiting to get in at 9am.  There were a lot of avocado trees.  I picked up a Pollock and Carmen Hass (excited!) for a relative.  I didn't check out the mangos since I wasn't in the market for any, but I think there were a couple dozen varieties.  I also bought a Mauritius lychee tree for him.  They had Brewster and Sweetheart, as well.  Lychee trees are a little hard to find these days due to erinose mite, so I was surprised and happy to find them there.  Unfortunately I didn't find any persimmon trees.

How did the avocado trees look?
I picked up some carambola, achachairu, tamarind, jackfruit, and jaboticaba.
The selection was very large and the plants were healthy looking.
Definitely was a line to get in, but it moved fast and was a fun Saturday morning.
