That was my first time trying Durian, kind of reminded me of a fermented sweet onion vanilla mouse sprinkled with garlic powder. I liked it, but I drink buttermilk with celery salt for a desert. I have some frozen Durian in the fridge right now, I may actually eat some now that I think of it..

Watching all the first timers is a hoot! You so expect the worst but then find that it's not all that bad and starts to grow on you the more you eat. I would eat overly ripened durian long before eating another soursop!

The best thing and the worst thing about durian is that it keeps on giving. For many hours after ingesting the darling fruit, it repeats on you like nobody's business. If you love the flavor......you're good to go for the rest of the day. If you don't.......you're screwed. It will be hours before that wierd horrible flavor starts to fade away.

Aaaaaah a much warmer and fruitful time. Harry, marang repeats on you too, diesel burps for the rest of the day, but still very yummy.
