Once you see a female fruit forming on a large FAT diameter stem.... It's obvious it's not a male...
At least on my Jackfruit trees, it's easier for me to just look for fat diameter stems coming from the tree and high percent chance of female flower on it... (little diameter stem is usually a male flower on the end).
