For the first time ever I accidently found a handful of P coronata restinga fruit ready to be eaten.
So far the tree had only fruited in the Spring.

I was going to trim my tree and am offering Siam Jumbo Mulberry cuttings for $5 each.
I have a limited amount as my tree is less than a year old but has grown nicely this Summer.
The tree fruited in the Spring and the fruit was large and very sweet tasting. So far it's a winner

This is a 2017 seedling that is fruiting for the first time. The 6 hours of freeze
did a small amount of damage to the outer leaves last year and the back to back
nights of frost this year did no damage

I have two new fruits to sample this year. One is an orange Cherry of the Rio Grande
which is the best COR I have ever tasted and an orange colored Suriname Cherry.
It is the best Suriname cherry I have ever tasted. Absolutely no after taste.
I have only gotten to sample 3 but more on the way. An added benefit the birds are eating everything this year
that is red colored including my hot peppers but they don't recognize orange fruit yet

Tropical Fruit Discussion / grafting question

I grafted 9 annona scions on Jan 31st
4 of them have multiple small leaves from several nodes
Do you think I should take the grafting tape off after 5 weeks?
I wrapped them very tight. I think it helped but I don't want to girdle
the trunks. The scions were 1/4" to 1/8" A couple other pushed initially
and paused
