Update: customs cleared and tapes are with the dealer, getting shipped today to me. Hopefully if I get before Friday I will ship over the weekend or early next week.

27
Can someone please help point me to the right nursery in CA that has in stock large Tango and Golden Nugget Mandarins, 15 gal min, preferred 24"-36" box

28
yeah- no response over a week- not even an acknowledgement of payment- contacted via forum, email and facebook- very happy to send you scions etc- please acknowledge receipt of payment
I am very busy and cant acknowledge payment from 100's of people. Like I said, once I have tapes arrive and shipped, you will get notification. If there are issues I will reach out to you via email. For you to post comments like above and try to degrade someone is not right, I will be more than happy to refund your payment if that's what you want.

29
UPDATE - Tapes are at San Francisco/Oakland Port. Just like lazy asses everywhere, San Francisco is one of the worst ports. We might bet it thru customs by early next week. Will ship once received, and alert all here.

30
You didn't responded to my email 😪

glad I posted, I found your email in spam. replied today.

31
Whoever emailed has been sent email was sent request for payment. Tapes will be here in 2-3 weeks. Check your email and start sending payments.

32
From what I see a roll is no more that 12$ or some give you 2 rolls and a knife for 16$ shipped to your door. For me it's a no Brainer and very affordable.

you have no idea what you are talking about. if you buy 10,000 rolls you will get lowest price of $16 plus.

33
UPDATE: if you sent email to behlgarden@gmail.com I got you covered on group order. Those who are still waiting, just understand that I will be placing the order and paying for it by next Thursday. Once order is placed, I will not be able to accommodate late comers. If you haven't already emailed to reserve, please follow the top of page post and contact me ASAP to reserve tape.

I will be sending you payment instruction upon receipt of tapes so you dont have to wait long after payment.

34
Reminder for those looking for tape. If you emailed me, no need to check back as I will email each one individually on next steps. Please do not send $$ until you hear from me.

Thanks

I had Malaysian Red, Vietnamese white, and Ruby-X red. Whites are by far the best tasting and sweetest guavas I ever had. From crunchy to full ripe the flavor of white changes and is very interesting. I sold my home so now i Need to replace them, I tried to root but several failed.

1. E4 - 3-yr old
2. Pina Colada - 3-yr old
3. LZ - 8-yr old, fruited on graft, mother tree still virgin, fruit got stolen from Frank's yard. it was an off type and had no resemblance to LZ. cant wait for next year.
4. Peach Cobbler - 2-yrs old
5. OS - 3-yr old
6. ST - 4 yrs old.

so next few years there will be 6 new varieties to sample.

glad to see cherimoyas coming online. too bad I have none as my fruits are ripening on the trees of my sold home  :(, will have a solid start in 2022 at new place. I would love to join, but have no fruits to contribute so I can bring Beer  ;D

exceptionally cool October did not help Cherimoya size up and now extremely warm Nov is killing it.

there were few late orders that I have labels printed but have not shipped yet, please be assured they will be shipped tomorrow, I had to prep them again and it takes time.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Question about australian atemoyas....
« on: September 09, 2021, 02:39:42 PM »
Hillary White does great in CA climate and is no. 1 atemoya IMHO

41
I got about 23 fruit trees potted from 5 gal to 25 gal, all doing great so far. Plan to take these babies with me. These are too precious for me to leave behind as some mango varieties I cannot even replace and plan on sharing in the future.

42
Almost sold.

Appreciate fellow gardeners who supported me and got collection growing and spreading elsewhere.

all orders are packed, shipping tomorrow.

43
I hope someone paid you a pretty penny for all those established cherimoya trees!

Sad to see the varieties be less available- behl is a fabulous and reputable vendor

I am not taking established trees, Cherimoya trees are 15 yrs old and it would be injustice to try to take and kill them, I am taking anything I can up to 15 gal or 24" box max. leaving behind over 55 fruit trees.

44
fruit wont be different, the hybrid would be seed that you must grow and see what that produces.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Mango Taproot Mystery
« on: August 11, 2021, 02:00:49 AM »
Weird thing happened today. I had planted a buttercream mango and after 3 years a sucker came up 8 inches away from the trunk. I thought oh it must me manila seed sprout that I planted around turpentine mango trees from Florida so I would inarch in the future and help droopyness issue.
I ended up grafting another mango on this sucker that I thought was a seedling. Today I wanted to pot this grafted mango, so I went digging, and was able to isolate all roots, it was down to taproot and I could feel it when hitting with showel. I slowly pulled it up and taproot snapped at 8" depth. I was amused and thought it would kill my plant. As I pulled the grafted plant out with massive feeder root mass, I saw the adjacent buttercream plant fall on it face. I was like WTF happened.
Then I went looking for taproot of buttercream and there was no taproot. Then I looked for the seedling taproot and there wasn't any there either. It turned out that buttercream taproot had hit a rock and turned sideways and it sprouted a sucker.

Has anyone ever witness this?

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Best orange\lemon tasting mango
« on: July 20, 2021, 05:43:02 PM »
strongest orange flavored mango is peach cobbler, that name should be changed. let it ripe to medium firm and taste it, if it is soft its gone too far.

Ive had 2534mm (96inches) in my yard so far this year and that is fairly dry compared to some places near here who have already had 168inches this year

96" so far. Dang, send some our way in CA, we barely hit 6" if that. worst dry season ever. Arizona got more rain than we did.
