Tropicalfruitlover-shine muscat pre-order list applicant
Just bought a small portion of shine muscat grape from my local Hmart. Loved it and would like to grow my own.
To each his (or her) own, but I don't have an Instagram account. I see no reason to provide Mark Zuckerberg pictures of my plants or anything else he can meta with.
Besides, we have a perfectly fine Tropical Fruit Forum here to post plant pictures on.
In addition to grafting, I picked up this aerocloning device at my local hydroponics store yesterday. It was on sale as an open box clearance so I figured why not.
Aerocloning is basically rooting, right? Is that even possible for Pouterias?
My loan was just approved to build a greenhouse. I am going the climate battery/ geothermal approach. My plan is to dig 8ft and install this. Not sure how well this will cool of my greenhouse in the summer but its worth a shot.

That system will work well to heat a greenhouse in winter. But in Phoenix you don't need much heating in winter.
Your issue is cooling in summer. The geothermal will be totally inadequate in that regard in Phoenix. I won't waste money on that system. Especially not borrowed money.
You better put in an evaporative cooling system as well. That is a wet wall and large exhaust fans pulling about two air exchanges a minute. Even that might not be adequate.
You'll likely end up adding shade cloth and or a high pressure misting system.
My thought is you don't understand greenhouse heating and cooling well enough to borrow money for a system that you hope works.
Sorry if this seems harsh. Many many people waste money building greenhouses that are poorly designed and have no chance of working properly.
Grafting guava using normal methods have failed for me. So I use a modified method as shown in this video starting at 5:39. You do not need to understand Vietnamese language. I used this method to graft cherimoya, atemoya, guava, and even fig. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yq9A1IvCx7A

Start a thread with pictures as you do it! Greenhouse construction threads are great content
Does Zills post their new introductions on their Facebook page? Trying to keep my finger on the pulse of the latest mango trends.
They're a wholesale nursery, so your best bet is to search posts on here for info, especially those close to the sources like Har, Rob, and Alex. Usually they are the first to share info on here. You could also try purchasing fruit from the ZHPP fruit stand and you may luck out, or might get something picked at a time which doesn't give a fair representation.
BTW, Alex recently updated many of the pages on the Tropical Acres Farms site, so if you haven't looked there in a while, there's new info, especially into the medium term performance info for stuff grafted 3+ years ago (many of the recent Zill releases).
