What variety do you grow & do you offer pickup?

78
I used stapled papers for shade.  Although, it was windy and some kept coming off, so I put mum starter pots over the scions

79
I just grafted some Pickering scions, and was wondering how long should they be shaded before being exposed to full sun?

80
I place used coffee grounds in the compost pile and/or worm composting bin.

82
Organically grown cherimoya seedlings (unknown variety) 1 gal/$10
Will be available next month, so send inquiries now.
Make multi-graft cocktail trees, or just grow out to see how the seedling develops

Thanks for the head's up.  Great, informative video of the mango man, himself.  Was hoping more mangoes would be featured, but I enjoyed watching, nonetheless.

1 gal/$7

Organically grown, from seed

Fairchild was also concerned about plant diseases from plants shipped to the US.  The Japanese sent the cherry trees that would be planted in Washington DC.  He found a lot of diseases, and the Japanese sent new & healthy trees to rectify the mistake.

Anyone growing the organ pipe cactus for fruit? It's supposedly better than a dragon fruit and looks just about the same. I'm sure I'm pushing it has anyone grown these from cuttings and how long for a cutting to mature into a fruiting plant?

I grow Peruvian Apple Cactus  (Cereus Peruvianus).  It's somewhat similar to dragonfruit.  What I like about it, it is a columnar grower.

Patrick, I planted boxes of mango seeds (Ataulfo fruits) a few years ago from H-mart. Out of 120 seeds, I only got 20 to grow and out of the 20 only 3 survived for me. I peeled each seed shell and planted them in a large container. Not a good experience for me growing seeds from the market.

I've had a high success rate with planting Ataulfo/Manila seeds

I have Sunrise

I have planted Sugar Baby, in the past.  This season, I planted Golden Midget.  The rind turns yellow when ready to pick.

Watermelon, and especially the juice of the rind, is high in L-Citrulline, precursor to L-Arginine, which is a vasodilator

Is that one also called the fig banana? I think there's one called banano higo in Costa Rica and it looks a lot like that. They look awesome! Kids always dig the small baby bananas.

You're correct

I use worm castings from my DIY worm bin, compost from the compost piles, fish wastewater and some Dr. Earth slow-release fertilizer & fertilizer concentrate.  I'm happy, thus far

94
I'll keep you updated when I have seeds, available

Posting a pic would help determine what's going on.

Is it black with powdery, spider-web like strands?  It could be powdery mildew
