The fastest flowering in my hybrids is from the Genoa lemon x rampurg lime, it is flowering after 2 years, a single plant from that cross made this phenomenon.

How many seedlings of this combination do you have in total? Has only 1 seedling flowered at 2 years?

> You probably know that there are no hybrids with citrons as a seed parent.
You mean in the wild... Because it is easy  to do for humans.  :)
Sylvain,
This is to prouve  and confirm. I actually tried it with Corsican and failed up to now.
Moreover, we are talking about plants made by humans,  although maybe  inadvertently.

This is my quick hybrid, it is on its own root in a 6 liter pot and when I saw it flower I moved it to a large pot (20L).  Only that one showed that character, but in Rampurg it is quite clear that it can flower in 3 years although I am discovering cultivars that grow faster.  So I am separating seedlings from different origins, I think that this character comes from its father C. medica, because the etrog also flowered in 4 years.  in the 1st photo flower of the hybrid, 2nd photo comparison of Rampurg in my fingers and hybrid flower (it is more similar to its pollen father in the flower), 3rd naked flowers comparing female part (in my fingers Rampurg).  As for the leaves, the hybrid is not recognized as what it resembles, the growths are very pigmented like the Genoa lemon and its smell is not recognized by any of its parents, very strange.

Does Genoa flower all year round or does it have a limited flowering period, e.g. only in spring?

It is 4 seasons, that is how it is sold, with that name.  But to my understanding all true lemons are "reflowering", meaning they can bloom all year round.  but in areas with marked winters they slow down their flowering and growth.  In production areas it always blooms.  I have Genoa lemon, eureka, Lisbon, eureka Pink, eureka variegated Pink giant lemon (cultivar without fertile pollen unknown), sweet lemon, Meyer lemon, and other type lemons that have not yet given me fruit.  This year I have fruit from Genoa and eureka pollinated with Meyer, I would be interested in generating a whole new genetics in lemons by contributing from this another line such as the Meyer that would not be a "true lemon".  We'll see what happens and how long it takes to mature 💪☺️
