I have a lot of different trees growing in my yard that provide me with food in the summer. Due to the large number of trees, most of my yard is covered in shade and I plan to build a place to relax or whatever, as long as it is compatible with the trees.

Good going. That's exactly how my back yard (except the patio) shaped out... totally shaded!  Even on the hottest day in summer it's 20+ degrees cooler.

I bought a "bistro" table, some armchairs (with cup holders) and ran a 12 volt line from my solar array for DC lights, a charge station for my phone, blue tooth speakers and two fans. I topped it off with ground orchids and bird feeders.

Let your imagination go wild!!!
