Can anyone explain me the value and taste of this fruit plant  Vangueria infausta - African Medlar

They do not have seeds but maybe will get them in

All I have read is ZA (south Africa plants site) , and ken Ferns
(there is also Zimbia country site as well)

I’ve got a couple trees of it.  Pulp ratio is very poor. Sour pulp.  Not worthy...unless I have a crappy type.
Also I have voa vanga v madagascarensis.   I love them they are sweet sour green apple fruit leather flavor and texture.

It have have different qualities. The ForesthouseCameroon admired it as worth having and one of the good fruits

What you are referring is Spanish-tamarind. Seeds available in Montoso Gardens. This is what you said good variety?
