750ml henne bottle as reference.  I found the taste a little sweeter and complex then AP.  My new favorite :)

Very nice looking fruit. Glad it tastes good, I have a few grafted branches.

Not sure.  my tree is only 5 years old and I keep it at about 10feet. My Brother in law from Australia said I might not never know because all of the jumbo he has seen has all been 20ft plus colossal trees.  At least he confirmed that it was pinks mammoth :)

Thanks! It's pretty cool to be able to confirm that I actually like the flavor and that it's just not hype.  I've been pretty lucky so far :)

That’s not a pinks mammoth, it looks like a Hawaiian PM. Here a pix of my pinks mammoth and a nexus.

Brother from Australia tasted it and he said it tasted exactly like the tree he had.  He said his fruit was way bigger, but his tree was about 30ft tall and the tree was more then 15 years old.  I asked if it could be AP he said no AP taste is not as intense as PM.  it's ok even if its not im super happy with the way it taste.

I have landed. I have shown pics of these a few times and they are irregular and never have the skirt/crown at the top that is regular. Newer selections tend to be less irregular in am elephant man kinda way but they have a little grit near the skin. You'd hoch AP  and gefner up in horror after trying one of these.
The one in the pic on its own looks like it but the group of them lower dont quite conform. So far as taste goes onlu a few of its descendants can match it in the Annona world, according to local Annona researchers and breeders. When crossed with AP and with cherimoya (eg Fino...) the offspring are diminished. I digress sorry..... In the last pic it almost looks like an AP X mammoth but if its nearly seedless, a little grit near the skin, has hollow empty seeds and a way better taste than AP or gefner it probably is a selection of mammoth. Not many bear fruit of the impressive size reported pre say WW1 these days.

And how do you like the flavor compared to a cherimoya?

Hi Mike Thanks for chiming in.   Yeah the fruit all looks different on my tree.  It's gritness until you get super close to the skin.  Unfortunately there is alot of seed about 40 seeds per fruit..  My 4 year old daughter did pollinated them :)  According to her thats why they taste so good.  Seeds are not hollow. The majority is brown with about 3 that are black.

John, the biggest difference is texture.  It's not entirely soft/blended smoothie like a cherimoya.  It's a bit of chewyness, firm, to it.  Flavor wise it's like the best Pierce cheriomiya but sweeter and more aromatic. The acidity hits your tongue right when you think its too sweet.  Lol it's makes me dance 🕺 after I take a bite.. My wife says it's has strong pear aroma with hints of mango flavor in it.   Compared to AP I would say more complexed and pronounced.

AFAIK version 1 is a seedling.
Version 2 supposes to be real.

My friend gave me v2 scion.
1st fruit was small, looked hideous, had few seeds.

Dang Frank you are good! I asked the person I got it from and he said he got it from Oscar from Hawaii....let me follow up with him to see what he knows about this variety.  If you have any info of this variety please chime in.
