I have one that was propagated from a cutting. I did not root it myself, but the grower I got it from said they took a while to root. I would keep it on a heat mat and covered in plastic for humidity. I have learned that you can have good growth on cuttings before root system establish, so baby the cutting even after it looks like it’s fine. I’ve heard for best success for grafting, select what you plan to use for a scion on new growth and tip prune to stimulate buds, then cut the scion a few weeks later after you see the buds have developed. For rooting cuttings, coco coir with vermiculite and perlite have worked best for me.
