Two hundred  kgs!  That's a lot of trees.  Ironically they're taking the exact same flight as my son and his family when they come to visit 12 days from now.

I edited my last post, but not sure if people will see it, so I'm posting here.

I planned on putting the trees in a bucket of rain water for storing, but since most people are picking up same day, maybe it's best to leave the trees in their original bags until they're picked up. If you do want me to keep the roots in water, or any other request, feel free to let me know. Also, I'm near a Home Depot if you would prefer to pick up in a public place.

Good morning Bill,

I will go the Chinatown Spring training station to pick up my order.  Please pack them separately.

 Hi AI,
I will add your trees in a separate bag in the box for LA east folks, you get it  from Shaun.
Trees are running very low, but I will make 2 DK available for you.

 Regards,
 bill

 Folks,
No more new big orders. Some trees are small per the exporter, I don't want to disappoint everyone, we may need to reserve some
 for make up.

Black Crystal is not available. All others are running low.

  Thanks, bill

My custom broker received stamp from USDA around noon time, and he brought the trees in right after that.
Just checked with the broker regarding the status. Looks like the USDA will start the inspection tomorrow. I will keep everybody posted if I have any update.

 Thanks, bill

I sent email early in the morning to one of inspectors in USDA SFO and told her that if any assistance is needed in unwrapping the trees during the inspection , and received her reply "If we need anything else, we will contact you. "

Minutes ago just checked with my custom broker. They have not received any news from USDA yet.

 Still waiting.

Just checked with my custom broker, he had not heard of anything yet from USDA about inspection result.
The inspection office closes at 4:30 PM.

So it will be sometimes tomorrow.

Thank you all for the patience.

Newbie here, what is the protocol for treatment and planting or potting these new babies?  Nematode treatment seems to be in order right?

It is reasonable to assume there are nematodes and treating them isn’t too bad. Mine were infected from last order, but now they are super happy in ground. I used Monterey nematode control. Pot in well draining soil and keep in a shaded spot for recovery. Find a way to keep humidity up either through humidifier or wrapping trees with parafilm or buddy tape. Good luck!
