cherimoya
« on: April 06, 2022, 10:32:46 PM »
Hi
have a 4 year old fino de jette that has not fruited yet.  It flowers, drops the flower, starts to bud and then drops off.
I was told it's self pollinating?
is that correct?
Thanks Bob

Hand-pollinate to make certain you'll have fruit

Definitely try to hand pollinate, I've seen trees set abundantly on their own but they were:

1. quite mature
2. higher humidity around the trees, sometimes even being sprayed with water in the evenings..
