One of my rare Sapote seeds called Pradosia sp. "Terciopelo" started emerging above the soil last week. Unfortunately, it's taproom started to grow through one of the drainage holes & the root tips got infected with fungus. I took the seedling out, sprayed it with fungicide, and transplanted it to a bigger pot.

Now black spots are showing up on the emerging embryo. Advice?

Couldn't hurt to spritz it with Physan or Consan, whichever you have.
