Goat milk and white sapote sweetener

(1/1)

FigoVelo:
FYI: There is a very interesting concoction, made and evaluated in Egypt using goat milk and dried white sapote puree, described in this research paper: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10698269/

Pau:
Can you summarize it? That is one long article.

Galatians522:
If it's the article I read before it basically says you can make a decent milk shake substitute from the milk and dried white sapote.

Sorry about that. I think I thought I did summarize it, though not with much detail. They peeled and pitted the fruit, pureed the flesh, then dried it. They next used it as a sweetener in goat milk. That’s basically it. Not something I’ll be doing until I have a surplus of white sapotes. Also need a goat.

Coconut Cream:
Any type of White Sapote blended with a chilled dairy product (even almond milk) sounds delicious to me. We always eat them so quickly there's none left over for making shakes.
