Sugar Belle is a cross between Clementine and Minneola tangelo.
Yes, it would technically still be considered a mandarin, although due to both its parents, a very "orange"-like mandarin.

The exact delineation between mandarins, tangors, oranges, etc, is not always a completely clear one.

Great video. I was recommended this variety and bought one from Brite Leaf on dwarfing rootstock. Super excited about it. I know lots of Florida folks who buy Honeybell trees, but seems like they should be buying Sugar Belle due to the Greening tolerance. Not sure why this variety isn’t more common in Florida?

Grocery store had these on sale, 5 for $1, which is a great price.
I've eaten 4, and they sure forgot the "sugar" part. Some of them are dry at the top, as well. But certainly easy to peel. All of them had one or 2 seeds

If anyone likes Sugar Belle, another variety with similar parentage to try is Page.

SoCal2Warm, your right about Page, in that is a good tasting fruit.  Page's main problem is that it is so small.  It does make a great glass of orange juice, but you have to juice a ton of fruit..
