Tarocco Orange

Very happy, my blood orange is bloody. I know Tarocco isn't supposed to have deep pigment so I think it turned out an appropriate color.
The one I ate so far was good, mild taste with that raspberry tang present. Not bad for first year fruiting

very nice 👍 Ate my first Taroccos this year in spring in Italy.
For me Tarocco is the best Orange, so fine, tasty and juicy. Now I have 3 Tarocco plants in my collection, but still no fruits yet.

Andrew, do you know if it is a "Bream Tarocco" or "Tarocco #7" ?
These variety are supposed to have more red flesh color than the normal "Thermal Tarocco" blood orange.
I'm asking this question because I grafted some Tarocco #7 and just curious how much red color the flesh will show when I get my first fruits.

Thanks for the picture. I grafted Torocco #7 onto my Cara cara for a darker pigment and flavor profile in 2020. I'm hoping it blooms and sets fruit this year. The pigmentation looks similar to my Cara cara. (See pic). Did the rind have any other coloration?

Mine did not. But, was first large fruit set. So maybe that might happen in the future.

Thanks, please keep us posted. I like the varying rind colors for cocktails. I might get some of that budwood this year.
