Good vid and I have engaged in 'trash talk' about yellows but I think for good reason. I tried a big fruited nice one also. Taxonomically jabs certainly need to be rationalised. All the ones that don't exist in the wild and never did don't seem to be real stand alone species. Looks like we have composite species which is a single entity currently recognised as several. They form species complexes of closely related species. The old definition of what constitutes a species in being unable to cross isn't used any more.
I too had phitrantha pop up out of aureana seeds. A proper genetic analysis is needed to draw sensible boundaries around species groups and species themselves. Unfortunately fuzzy new growth, new foliage colour and a few other characters relied on are not the best to distinguish species that are pretty 'plastic'.

Yes, I will third that.

I think Adam has finally found his feet and is churning out good content that is pertinent to the topic at hand.

But things were a little piloso a while back. He was dabbling in all kinds of side-entertainment and political commentary, also encouraging people to bet money on Hillary to make a surprise return to the presidential race.

Stay focused, you homesteading hombre, and you can't go wrong. Keep your eye on the olho do boi, and your gift of the gab on the jab.
Eugenia luschnathiana = CURUIRI.    Talisia esculenta = PITOMBA
I do not recommend people deal with Fruit Lovers, Prisca Mariya or Fernando Malpartida

Interesting possibility that you lay out before us Adam, seems totally possible the way you show grow of various species. You would be one to catch this mixture of species for sure with your hugh collection.

thank you sirs, all of you, for the kind words...

It's amazing how much content can be made when focusing on this one genus.
