The last 2 sold for over $700 + shipping, and were smaller trees... am I wrong for following the market prices? The winner can take this and auction it, make a bunch of profit or keep for their collections. If the spots don't fill I will post for auction, I just figured people may appreciate a much cheaper option to obtain one of these trees

So are. You saying if all of the spots do not fill you will instead auction this plant? And if so will you be refunding the raffle entries?
-
Yes of course I will refund the paid entries.
Yes I do plan to sell the tree either in this raffle or an auction if this doesn't work out.

Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

And this is being shipped from Canada?
-
Yes it is
-
Well it doesn't look like to many interested people, with so few spots sold I feel it's pointless to go any further. I guess I will shut it down and post as an auction. People that have paid will recieve your refunds later today
Sorry folks!

Unfortunately, I think that ends up being a good idea. This looks like a very cool rare plant. But uhmm this isn't a free raffle or anything. This type of raffle would also be considered gambling in the U.S. Unless this is done by a charity or non-profit, the man doesn't look too kindly on this. It's better to not do anything to compromise the website or start a frown upon precedent in the sales page.
