No real improvement, it's fruit characteristics are unique, but not in regard to palatability. Mostly in its precocity, dwarf nature and relative Winter hardiness. The seedlings are uniformly of nucellar origin.

Do you have old enough seedlings of it to see if they are also precocious? If they are, I think a cross between mini Conestoga and Chinotto or kumquats could start a promising precocious and dwarf/semi-dwarf bloodline for further breeding.

Yes I've got approximately 50 seedlings and numerous additional seeds. I could evaluate their subsequent precocity.

Great! I hope they will prove to be precocious like their mother. That would be a valuable trait for breeding if it's passed down reliably.
