Iso low chill pear scions/Chickasaw plum scion

(1/3) > >>

Organicloweranch:
Looking for some tart low chill pear variety scions and Chickasaw plum scions.

D-Grower:
I've got chickasaw plum but they are well awakened for the year and fruiting right now. If you are willing to try grafting them this time of year I can take cuttings. Not sure it's the best time to try though.

Organicloweranch:
Oh awesome!! Thanks so much for the reply! I completely understand about them being awakened at the moment. Do you think I could get some fresh growth cuttings so I can try rooting them? I've rooted peach and plum cuttings with ease so these should be easy too, I think at least lol. If not, could I get back with you come fall and get some dormant scions?

D-Grower:
If you wanna try that's fine with me. They are loaded with fruit right now. Might be best to wait for them to be done first. Or better yet I could probably dig you some smaller root runners if you like but I don't know what the success rate of survival would be especially after being shipped. I have dug them in summer and had them survive transplant but you'd need to keep them well shaded and moist until you know they definitely have established well. Third option is seeds in a month or two. They sprout very readily after 3 month stratification.

Organicloweranch:
Ohhhh my dumb ass never even thought of seeds LMAO. I would definitely love some seeds if that's okay! Can I message you here in a couple months to check back? I'm in Louisiana and trying to get all native fruit trees I can. So I'm trying to get Chickasaw, Mexican, American, and hog plums. I'm also looking for mulberry and maypop. After those I'll have everything I think lol. I really appreciate you being so kind and responding.
