Citrus > Cold Hardy Citrus
Clementine Oronules × Citrus ichangensis IVIA
Florian:
I attempted this cross last year and my usually seedless Oronules gave me a handful of fruits with seeds. I sowed them in November and they took forever to germinate but some are finally popping now. Of course, I don't know if they are truly hybrids but I think there is a good chance.
I plan to document their development here.

I guess most clementines are totally zygotic.

My clementine x Thomasville seedlings appear to be completely or nearly completely zygotic, but honestly it's a bit early to say for sure.
I'll edit in some photos.

I'll be following this one closely, clementine x ichangensis is a cross I've wanted to make. Best of luck!
Florian:
Yeah.. they're all dead. They were weak from the start and their condition slowly deteriorated. I tried to micrograft some but most didn't take and the survivors were eaten by snails/slugs in one of the wettest Mays we have ever had. Even slug pellets could not help.
