What is this on my Citrumelo?

Some of the fruit have some kind of moldy looking stuff on one side of them. It will scrape off easily with your fingernail. We have had a lot of rain for the last two months could this have caused it? Is it mold? Will it go away as summer progresses?

Looks like rust mite damage to me.

I have never seen it on my tree before. It's not on all the fruit.

I agree with  Galatians522 that it is rust mite damage.  Spray with soapy water, or a horticultural oil or neem.
