The  fruit of Pouteria Lucuma is a little sharp at the end. But your picture doesn't show the sharp side

Can you take a more clear pic? please

These are an atypical shaped lucuma by the looks of them. They have a small nipple at the bottom, as pictured in two pics, but are much more round in form than the normal type.

Stephen, have you tasted these ones? Are they dry or a bit moist, sweet or bitter?

Thanks amigo!

Hi Davidia,

The fruit on the tree are immature. This variety is more flat than pointed. I'll take a pic inside the fruit.

Hey Bruce.

Yes, for several years now.  :) They are a bit moist and sweet...with smooth texture.

I got mine today.  ;D

Thank you very much Steven.

I have a question

Please correct me if I'm wrong, Lucuma La Molina was selected by national Agrarian University ( La Molina University) in Peru from Lucuma Da seda, so La Molina variety is supposed to be a better and bigger version of Da Seda, Is that correct ?.

Hi Moh'd,
Great news...hope all germinate. :)

Yes, La Molina was selected by the National Agrarian University, but i'm don't know about the rest...haven't done research on this matter. Maybe, other fellow members can help answering your question.
