Hey all zone 9b here.I have two miracle plants - one that has fruited before, and another that hasn't. The one that hasn't is super healthy looking - growing several inches each month. The one that fruited last year however, is fruiting now considerably but lacks any new foliage this season. I wish it would stop flowering and get back into the vegetative growth stage. Both plants in the same pots, location, soil composition, and fertilizing schedule. Thanks in advance!
Hit it with fertilizer.. I did that trying to encourage more flowering and instead it practically killed the flowers and went back into a vegetative state for a while before it started flowering again. Fertilizer I used was high in Nitrogen
Mine tend to bloom and fruit all year long. I doubt the flowering is doing it any harm. I also have miracle fruit plants in the same pots and locations, and one likes to push new growth, another just flowers away.I just let them do their thing.Carolyn
Hit it with some fish and or kelp emulsion. works great for me.
